I am definitely an old man by most people’s standard, but I think by my own standard that I am still as young as I was twenty years ago in terms of my physical and mental conditions. The picture attached was taken this year, in January 2023. I would like to know your reaction. I have just returned home one week ago after I resigned from a university in Bangkok, Thailand, where I taught Japanese for 13 years. From now on, I am planning to teach Japanese and various aspects of our culture not only to Thai people but also to people from any place on Earth and make it my greatest pleasure to deepen our understanding of each other’s mother country.
